Events are released regularly, with new content being available to all players! With this new content, comes a large chunk of the economy involving rewards being given upon Event completion. This guide will cover the basics of various Events available on Complex!

Dungeons

Basics

Dungeons are story based quest-lines which, upon completion, can provide you with a variety of rewards! These can be accessed in /warp dungeons and can be repeated as many times as desired. Note that Dungeons do not have a time limit, meaning you can take as long as you need to finish them. You may also leave the Server while still in a Dungeon, and you will rejoin back into it when you are online next.

There are many Dungeons to choose from, but there will always be a featured monthly Dungeon available! These featured Dungeons are the most recently released ones, and can provide you with better rewards at a higher price of entry. These rewards are specific to the theme of the month and will disappear after a certain amount of time has passed. Once 16 days have passed since the release of a featured Dungeon, the event officially ends and the limited-time rewards will be removed!

There are 3 main types of Dungeons:
- Seasonal Dungeons: Seasonal Dungeons are released on a monthly basis based on the specific theme chosen for the month. These include the limited time rewards (see Basics) and often take the longest to complete. The most recently released Seasonal Dungeon will cost 16x Dungeon Shards to enter, and it will be highlighted in the Dungeons GUI seen at /warp dungeons.

- Legend Dungeons: Legend Dungeons do not have specific release dates/times and tend to be shorter in completion time. These Dungeons can give the respective legend represented in the storyline. There are also exclusive tags and custom legend skins attached to each of them, and Dungeon Rewards are permanent within the reward pools. Each Legend Dungeon represents a different type of Legend, with some being combined such as Dialga & Palkia.

- Tutorial Dungeon: The Tutorial Dungeon is separate from the traditional Dungeon layout and begins when you first join the game till completed. This is a Starter Dungeon and is always active anywhere and can be tracked at any time with /quest. The aim of this Dungeon is to teach you the basics of the Server while actively playing.

Preparation for Dungeons
Dungeons typically cost 8x Dungeon Shards, with featured Dungeons costing 16x Shards. These Shards can be obtained through a variety of methods such as Dual Gyms, Vote Keys, Level Keys, Medium/Hard/Insane Contracts, and more!

It is required that you have 6 Pokemon to enter a Dungeon; however, it is recommended to have all Level 100 Pokemon with a wide range of typings. This will help you defeat the NPCs and Boss Pokemon that are a part of the storylines. Note that there will be Healer NPCs throughout the Dungeon, which can restore your Pokemons’ health/status fully!

The following is a list of items that can’t be brought into Dungeons:

- Any Revives (i.e. Max Revive, Revival Herb, etc.)
- Any PP Restores (i.e. Ether, Max Ether, etc.)
- Any Potions/Healing Items (i.e. Moomoo Milk, Hyper Potion, etc.)
- Any Berries
- Elytras
- Ender Pearls/Chorus Fruit
- Poke Bags

Important Commands and Navigation Tips
Dungeons can be accessed using /warp dungeons and walking into the portal. This will open up the Dungeon menu through which information about each Dungeon, rewards, and more can be located!

Favoriting a Dungeon can be done by middle-clicking it in the Dungeons menu above. This will put the Dungeon in a special filter in said menu at the top, which can be used to save them for quick access.

Upon entering a Dungeon, you will see text that includes an introduction to the storyline, the rules, what to do to begin, and more.

To locate what your current objective is, you can use /quest. This will give the progression of your current objective, as well as a description of what you need to do to complete it. With each quest, there will be a trail of green particles on the ground. You can follow these to lead you to your next quest location.

There are a variety of different quest types that can be found:
- Travel Quests - Traveling to different areas to progress the storyline
- Talking to NPC Quests - Speaking to an NPC to learn more about the storyline
- Battle NPC Quest - Battling an enemy NPC or a sequence of NPCs
- Battle Pokemon - Different rarities of Pokemon will spawn including Common, Rare, Legendary, and Mythical. Some quests will require you to defeat a number of strong, wild Pokemon of the above rarities.
Obtaining or Delivering Items - Obtaining an item from a location/NPC and bring it to another place.

If you happen to get lost at any point, you can use /dun checkpoint to go back to the start of the last green particle path. You can also use /spawn to return to the start of the Dungeon.

You can leave a Dungeon by using /forfeit. Note: Forfeiting means giving up on the Dungeon completely, so your progress will not be saved and you will NOT Be refunded the Dungeon Fragments spent on entry.

Rewards
While in the Dungeon menu at /warp dungeons, right-clicking on a Dungeon will show the loot pool for it. You can also use /quest rewards [Dungeon] as a quicker way to view reward pools.

Featured Dungeons will give a chance to obtain Seasonal Keys as a reward for the first 16 days after release. Seasonal Keys are very sought after, and can only otherwise be purchased from the Store or obtained as a rare drop from Vote Keys.

Seasonal Dungeons give all of the rewards from the Featured Dungeons, but will not give a chance for a Seasonal Key. The rewards include legendary rarity eggs/plushies, keys, common eggs/plushies, and more!

Legendary Dungeons will provide a chance to obtain the Pokemon featured within the storyline as well as several other rewards. These contain custom texture eggs, seasonal plushy eggs, exclusive Dungeon tags, rare keys, etc.!

Potential Issues
There are a few known issues with Dungeons that are typically fixable through the methods below:

If there are areas of the map that are not loading, try to relog (use /hub then rejoin the server). This will not lose your Dungeon progress!

If your chat, inventory, or anything else appears to be glitching out, check to see if you have JourneyMap installed. If installed and encountering this issue, uninstall it temporarily and continue the Dungeon.

If you get stuck inside of structures/unintended areas, use /dun checkpoint and relog if necessary.

If you run into any other issues regarding Dungeons and are unable to use the fixes above, you can always make a Ticket in our Discord (/discord) and Staff will assist you further!

Dual Gyms

Basics
Dual Gyms is a challenge which has 10 NPCs to battle against. This is tailored to offer a very difficult NPC experience on the server in exchange for high-tier rewards. There is no requirement to battle through this, and it can be accessed using /warp dualgyms.

Each NPC has 6 Pokemon and can be re-battled as many times as you wish until beaten. These NPCs have two types of Pokemon, and are changed monthly in order to provide a new challenge. They are also numbered, and will need to fought in order prior to challenging the final boss, which will have a team of full Legendary Pokemon.

Rewards are given when the final boss is defeated, and cannot be battled again until the Dual Gyms are reset. Resets happen every month and are announced in #change-log in our Discord between the middle to the end of the month.

1703377616132.png

- Flash Races: These Races will be on a random map, meaning they can either be Parkour or Elytra. These will require you to face off against other players for rewards instead of beating a set time.
