On Complex there are multiple different worlds, which can all either be accessed via /rtp, or some dimensions via a Nether/End Portal. This guide should give you all the information you'll need to understand how these worlds work.

Admin Worlds

Admin worlds are the first of the worlds in our servers. The Admin worlds contains many of the important builds and areas on the server, such as /warp crates, /warp battletower and /warp dungeons. All areas in the Admin world are admin claimed, meaning that no players can build or break blocks in them. Some of the builds builds which are held here is the spawn area, present hunts, races, gyms, dungeons, and so forth. All Pokemon spawns are disabled at spawn, races and present hunts (excluding realm contract Pokemon spawns). There are Pokemon spawns in dungeons, but these are never catchable.

The Admin world also contains biome warps. These are areas designated to spawn several pokemon in a smaller area. The biome warp location of the Pokemon is dependent on where the Pokemon would naturally spawn. A Pikachu for example, often spawns in wild birch forest areas. It therefore has one or more spawners at the /warp birchforest area. There is a hologram at the start of all biome warps which lists all Pokemon that spawn in said biome warp.

The spawn area (/spawn) contains loads of important information for your gameplay. However, no pokemon spawn and you can't build. So what do you do?
That's where our random teleport feature, or rtp for short, comes in.

RTP - Random Teleport

In order to initiate a random teleport, simply run the command /rtp in chat. A GUI will pop up with four different options:

Overworld, The Nether, Ultra Space and the Resource World. After deciding where to teleport, the command will be put on a 5 minute cooldown before you can use it again. All areas will have generated structures in them with loot (granted no one else found it before you). All maps have keep inventory enabled.

The Overworld has the largest world border, which is 45k x 30k blocks wide. This is the most used world, where you can safely build, train and claim buildings.

The Nether has a world border which is 22.5k x 15k blocks wide. Similar to the Overworld, you can interact with everything in here.
The Ultra Space also has a world border of 22.5k x 15k blocks. Gravity here is lower, and both hidden ability pokemon and Ultra Beasts have a higher spawn chance here.

The Resource World also has a world border of 22.5k x 15k blocks. Pokemon do not spawn here, and the world is intended to give fresh loot such as world-generated builds and loot balls. This world is often reset, so it is not recommended to build here.

You may notice that there's no RTP for the End dimension. You will have to either locate a Stronghold/portal yourself, ask others if you can /tpa to them or check /pwarps. Some players may create a player warp to access the End which you can use.

Please keep in mind that some structures may be player-made and not world generated. Most of these builds will be claimed, but not all. You'll have to determine what type of build it is, or ask staff (in-game or Discord) if you're unsure. Looting or griefing player-made builds will be considered griefing, even if unclaimed. We generally recommend you to always claim your builds and items. If you are uncertain on how to do so, check our claiming guide here!

Zones/Shards

In order to host such large servers, we have to split the realms up into different zones (or shards). These technically function like different servers, but they are all connected to the same realm. The zones change depending on where your character is currently located. There are different spawn and wild zones, and they all have different reboot timers. If the zone you're currently in is going down for a quick reboot, you will be teleported to a different zone. In the same manner, if the zone you're trying to teleport to is down for a reboot, you will not be able to get to it. Simply wait a few minutes and it should be back up.

You might sometimes run into a "Negotiating" screen when running around. This means you're on the edge of one of the zones, and you're entering a new one. Simply run further away in one direction to avoid getting this popup.

Remember to /sethome <homename> if you've found a cool area you'd like to return to! In addition, there's also the /back command if you accidentally warp away from an area you'd like to return to.
