Requirements​

There are a few requirements necessary to run the Complex Gaming Pixelmon modpack as smoothly as possible:

• This modpack requires at least 2-4GB of RAM allocated to the launcher.
• Ensure that you edit your settings as needed based on your PC's requirements and specifications. All downloads should be made under the basis of what system your PC uses (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
• CurseForge has two options to download modpacks: Download manually OR Install via the CurseForge app. Be sure to Install the modpack via the CurseForge app as this will allow for simpler updates, and a much more enhanced, streamlined process!

CurseForge App Installation (RECOMMENDED)​

Step 1: Click on the following link to navigate to the Complex Gaming Pixelmon modpack on CurseForge:

Step 2: Go to the top right and click on the Get CurseForge App icon.

Step 3: Scroll down and download the appropriate CurseForge version based on your PC's system (Windows, Mac, or Linux).

Step 4: Navigate to the installer and double-click to run the exe file. Follow all prompts provided until successful installation.

Step 5: Log in to CurseForge using your account, or create a new one if you do not already have one. You can also opt to Continue as Guest, but keep in mind that this will not save your modpacks if anything happens to the installation.

Step 6: Go back to the modpack page and click on the Install button. If your browser prompts you by asking if it should Open CurseForge, allow it to do so.

Step 7: Click on the Install button in the CurseForge app, if it is not installing already. Once installed, you will see the Play button appear.

Step 8: To ensure you have enough RAM allocated to the modpack, click on the three dots on the top right and click on Open Game Settings. Scroll down to the bottom to Java Settings, specifically to Allocated Memory. Ensure that Memory slider is set to 2-4GB or 2000-4000MB.

At this point you can click Play and join our Network! When you first load up, ensure that your settings, especially the graphics settings, are set to your PC's needs. Different PCs, high and low end, will have different capabilities, so feel free to adjust these with the gameplay your PC was designed to handle in mind!
